Ode to the great guitar1
Inspired by the versatility and greatness the guitar has to offer, I wanted to create a list of some of the greatest ones. This is only the top few from a friend. This will likely be the beginning of a series. Hopefully you'll be inspired too. Enjoy!

Open Your Eyes
"The eye speaks with an eloquence and truthfulness surpassing speech. It is the window out of which the winged thoughts often fly unwittingly. It is the tiny magic mirror on whose crystal surface the moods of feeling fitfully play, like the sunlight and shadow on a still stream." Henry Theodore Tuckerman
......but let the music speak for itself.

Vogue picks
Today, I was happy to find waiting in my mailbox, an oversized Vogue spilling out of the tiny container. In every Vogue issue, I ripe out pages that inspire me or things I like. Sometimes I can't quite place why I like it, but I know that I want to continue looking at it so I keep it.

Although this first image isn't taken from the issue, it's still reflects my style perfectly!...although I'd match the shoes with the woman next to her with the outfit.

Even those this is an ad, I love the outfit because it shows a great play on texture. The silky smoothness of the dress paired with the plush fur and hard lines from the chunky necklaces create an interesting combination.

I would love to wear both these outfits. It's not just the outfits but the photography and scene that make me enjoy it so much. The one on the right is Valentino Couture organza dress with lacquered lace and awesome satin pumps. The left image is Giorgio Armani Prive animalier-motif lame-and-silk-jaquard cardigan and skirt with hand-embroidered silk ribbons.

Introduction
I stared my career in interior design four years ago as a bright-eyed freshman in college. I've now reached the point where that chapter of my life is ending and I'm venturing off into the "real world" excited (and scared as hell). Part of my design philosophy says, "Design begins with education and past experiences.." without those I wouldn't be who I am today.
I like to not just think of myself as an interior designer, but a designer as a whole. I'm inspired by so many things - the drape of a dress, the sparkle of a diamond on a woman's neck, the plasterwork of a fireplace, you name it. Color, patterns, textures, lines and forms...design is all around, a part of everyday life...my life. And I'd like to share it in this blog...inspired.
