On my way to work every day I pass by a particular tree. Now I’m not sure what kind it is, but I do know that it’s changing. I first noticed it when just the enveloping leaves started to transform. Every day a few more patches of red appear as if by magic. Interestingly enough it’s turning back into what it actually is, a vivid crimson. It’s almost fully transformed today and it makes me happy.
My newest attraction is metallics, and as always linear forms. The most recent creation is the first in the series. This was inspired by music obviously. More specifically music with minor tonality; they always seem to sound sorrowful, but with distant hope...
"Don't let your fire go out. Spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours." -Ayn Rand
This is a tough time to keep inspired, to keep motivated, and to keep optimistic. Everyone needs help getting through, which is in part what this is all about. Just listen, look, read, and hopefully become inspired too.
I'm inspired by so many things. This is a collection of some of them, whether it's music or art. I have a BS degree in interior design. I'm also an allied member of ASID. For more, just ask.
